1. About this project
Crista Ronaldo is a personal comedy and fan project called Startup Ronaldete. It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cristiano Ronaldo, any club or brand.
Beta and comedy
This is an experimental comedy and fan project. It may contain bugs, outages, resets and incomplete features. It is entertainment, not an investment or a promise of permanent advertising. Contributions use real payments in EUR through Stripe.
Accepting these terms does not waive mandatory consumer rights. If a paid feature is not delivered or is faulty, applicable remedies, including correction or reimbursement where required, remain available.
2. Support with digital rewards
Your payment supports Startup Ronaldete and provides the selected digital reward: a cosmetic spot on a virtual 3D statue: blocks that show your color, image, name and link, or a visual effect ("perks" such as SIUUU, SUIII Speed, Too Good, Cristiano is back, Turkish Ronaldo, Champions, Like Ketchup and MESSI). These are contributions with digital rewards, not unconditional charitable donations. No tax deduction is promised. You do not buy any physical item, ownership of the statue, the 3D model or any intellectual property.
Paint and uploaded images last 24 hours from application. After that, blocks return to their original colours and become available again. Repainting starts a new 24-hour period for the affected blocks. The game also allows takeovers and destruction. Other people can take your blocks at the current block price, with the same quantity discounts and no takeover surcharge ("steal"), paint over them with perks, or send MESSI, which can take over the whole statue. Some perks destroy part of the statue for a limited time; destroyed blocks grow back slowly on their own, with the same owner, over about 30 minutes. Losing or temporarily losing blocks through the advertised game mechanics is part of the experience. This does not limit remedies for faults or other mandatory rights.
2a. Username, free pixels and chat
When you first visit, you choose a username. It is linked to this device and browser only (no email or password). If you clear your browser data or change device, you start with a new username, and we cannot transfer your old one.
Free pixels are a free in-game bonus you earn while the site is open (currently 1 every 3 minutes, with a daily limit). They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and can only be used on the site for empty blocks, blocks claimed with free pixels, and some perks. Blocks paid with money cannot be taken with free pixels. We may change how free pixels are earned or used, and remove pixels or rewards obtained through bots, scripts, multiple accounts or other abuse.
Chat: be respectful. Links, insults, hate, sexual content, spam and scams are not allowed. Messages are filtered automatically and may be removed, and users who break the rules may be muted, without notice.
3. Contributions and payment
The amount for each contribution and its digital reward is shown in euros before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your purchase is applied once Stripe confirms the payment.
4. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Your purchase is digital content delivered immediately after payment. Acceptance of these terms alone is not a waiver of any statutory withdrawal right. Any legally required separate consent for immediate supply must be obtained before that right can be affected. A technical fault does not remove any applicable right to correction or reimbursement.
5. Your content
You are responsible for the name, link and image you submit. You must have the right to use them. It is not allowed to submit content that is illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, misleading, infringes someone else's rights (including trademarks, copyright and image rights), or links to malware, scams or illegal material.
Links are checked automatically and some are refused (for example link shorteners, look-alike or login pages, and sites flagged as unsafe). Visitors see a warning before leaving the site through a supporter's link. A link being accepted does not mean we checked or endorse the site.
We may remove or replace any content that breaks these rules, and restrict repeat offenders. Any refund or remedy will be assessed under applicable law. You give us a non-exclusive, free license to display your content on the site for as long as it stays on the statue.
6. Availability
We try to keep the site online but do not guarantee it will always be available, and we may change, pause or end the site. If the site closes, any outstanding purchases and mandatory remedies will be addressed under applicable law.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase in question.
8. Law
Applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rules where relevant, continues to apply to contributions with digital rewards. Describing the site as personal, beta or comedy does not exclude those rights.
